Optional product analytics
Analytics is enabled by default. Famlib records limited product events such as page or screen visits, an app-entry link selection, a successful signup, and a successful login. These events help us understand which parts of Famlib are useful and where people encounter friction.
On the web, Famlib keeps the first source that introduced you and the most recent meaningful campaign or external referral before signup. Direct returns and navigation between Famlib properties do not replace that later source. Campaign fields are limited to source, medium, campaign, content, and term. Famlib also keeps the landing hostname and path without query parameters, plus the referring hostname when available.
What analytics never includes
We do not send names, email addresses, family records, health information, documents, IDs, search text, invitation or reset tokens, or other user-entered content to Google Analytics.
Signed-in analytics may use Famlib's internal user identifier to connect analytics-enabled activity across sessions. It is not an email address or a family identifier, and it is cleared from analytics when you sign out.
Your choice
Analytics is enabled by default and does not change any Famlib feature. You can turn it off or enable it again at any time; turning it off stops future collection and removes Famlib's visible Google Analytics and attribution cookies from this browser.
Account and family data
Information you deliberately save in Famlib is used to provide the product and is governed separately from optional analytics. Famlib's backend remains the authoritative source for completed registrations; analytics totals may be lower because user preferences and content blockers are respected.
See the Terms of Service for additional notices about health information and third-party data.
